thetalkingfowl is a minimal HTML5 wordpress theme. It integrates the HTML5 Boilerplate and the 960 grid css framework. It comes with the following features:

Nice theme.
Using WP 3.2.1 and thetalkingfowl 1.0.6. When the theme is activated I can’t access the admin panel screen options, help menu, or use drag & drop.
Seems like a JS or Ajax conflict somewhere…
Hmmm, i cannot replicate your error. I am currently using this theme and the drag/drop, help options work
My setup is Mac OS v10.6.8. It’s happening with Safari 5.1, Firefox 6, Chrome. Also happens under VirtualBox running WIn XP and IE8.
If I remove this line (around line 84) of code in functions.php, the WordPress admin features will all work:
wp_deregister_script(‘jquery’);
But, I lose the “Open” drop-down from the theme.
I have tried disabling all plugins to no effect. Not sure what the issue is, but I’ll keep looking at it.

Great theme, I really like the twitter, flickr and posting options here with the nice simple design. I do have a small concern re: the recent posts in the footer. It lists the posts that are in draft, and when you click on them, there’s a 404 error. Not a big deal, just noting it.

Relly neat theme this is, but I also have the problem with Jquery not loading properly on admin side. This results in a lot of bug I cant add tags, category, open ajax content, drag and drop widgets and so on. I whish I could use this theme for a friends personal website, please update if there is a solution to this (win7, wp 3.2.1 almost all browsers: ff, chrome, IE8)

Is it ok if i remove your information from the footer of the web site. I want a real minimal and simple front page. That is why i want to remove your copyright information too. Do you give permission?
If you want i can hide it with css but the link can still stay there.
Hiding it with CSS would be great but you can remove it entirely if you want to. I appreciate you asking!
